You make connections everyday and there is a high probability that the people you meet do a little homework on you. What will they find? Will it be the message that you want them to find? Make your online impression a professional one:
-Grow your network. Contacts>Add Connections
-Fill out your entire profile. (Starting with a professional photo!)
-Update your status at least once a week. (The shelf life of an update on LinkedIn is much longer than networks like Facebook & Twitter)
-Recommend connections and request recommendations to add depth to your profile.
